In July 2018, El Viaducto de la Paz in Colombia welcomed its first motorists. A true economic development infrastructure, this road project was built according to the rules of sustainable development. From the materials to the construction technique, this five-kilometer long viaduct blends into the nature of the Ciénaga de la Virgen.
For safety, nearly 400 solar-powered public streetlights were installed. Fonroche Eclairage, a French SME based in southwestern France and a leader in its market, is responding to the world's largest autonomous urban lighting projects. Illuminating the third largest viaduct in Colombia was a challenge for Fonroche.
